Customizing the UCCNET CL/Supersession Main Menu

UCD PPS users will only need two sessions:

CICSPAY3, the production region or "live" database
CICSPP3T, the test region for practicing

To ensure correct access and speed the logon process, you will want to delete unnecessary sessions. You will only have to complete this major customization (approximately 70 deletes) once. However, Office of the President occasionally adds new sessions to the Supersession Menu (used by UCOP and several campuses), which you will also want to delete.

See instructions below if you accidentally delete one of the necessary sessions.

To customize the supersession:

Step	What to do
1	At the UCCNET CL/Supersession Main Menu: Type D to the left of the session you want to delete (To delete more than one, tab down, press F8, then type D for each unwanted session) Press Enter
2	At the confirmation pop-up window: Press Enter to confirm the deletion (to cancel, press Tab + Enter). You will receive a pop-up confirmation window for each session deleted.
3	When you have completed all the deletes confirm that only CICSPAY3 and CICSPP3T remain on the Supersession Main Menu.

If you accidentally delete either the CICSPAY3 or CICSPP3T sessions:

Step	What to do
1	Type an L on the line to the left of any session remaining
2	Press Enter. This will bring a pop-up window listing all of the available sessions
3	Using F8 (Forward), scroll through the list until you find the missing session
4	Type A to add
5	Press Enter
