Monthly checks dated 1/1/12 were assessed at the OASDI tax rate of 6.2% as congressional approval was not in place when the checks were computed in December.

Refunds of the additional 2% withheld from Monthly paid employees will be refunded on their next regular payday, 2/1/12.
